Hi there. A positive blood test does not necessarily mean that you have Wegener's Granulomatosis and that's why its necessary to have the biopsy. Wegener's is a rare disease and obviously the drugs used to bring it into remission are very strong so they wouldn't want to start treatment without being absolutely certain. My father was recently diagnosed with Wegener's and he's doing really well at the moment. He was lucky to have his diagnosed early. His started with cold like symptoms that never went away, sore throat, then blocked sinuses and terrible headaches. Eventually, his nose started to bleed and thats when he went to his GP. He was lucky to have a GP that had actually heard of Wegener's and my dad was sent to hospital the next day. Anyway, hopefully it will turn out that you haven't got this. Let us know how things go and good luck to you.
