Has anyone else experienced this? - Immune Disorders Message Board

Hi i am a 27 year old female I have a history of high cholesterol high blood pressure, TIA and Lots of bone and muscle pain. I recently was diagnosed with Raynauds and have been experiencing a whole lot of weird things for a couple of years but things have gotten significantly worse. My eyes and mouth are extremely dry joints are killing me have sores on my tongue super sensitive to the sun and flourescent lights. There are good days and there are bad days. Recently My fingers have been swollen(ankles and legs too) I have had some clusters of bumps and not sure if it was a rash or not. Also I seem to have a weird thing happen when i get hot or touch something hot my hands especially my palms turn red and swell up even more.(they feel very tight also). I have had numerous tests and my c-reactive and esr have been elevated at times but not always so this puzzles the docs and they can't figure it out. Also my clotting time is off and my gamma and igg are low.
The other thing is I seem to always have a high aso titer(strep).
My question is this Has anyone had negative or inconclusive tests for connective tissue disease but had other tests done that helped? What tests can I ask the doctor to do? Because the docs themselves think it's an auto immune thing but the tests just aren't showing it. PLEASE HELP!!

You need to have a workup for Lupus, Sjorgens Syndrome, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Post on the lupus board, and VeeJ can tell you exactly what you need. Good luck.

All in one family??
My son (35)has podagra and now heartproblems (two stents i a few months). My sister has rheumatoid artritt, psoriasis artritt and now also hypothyreosis. I have hypothyreosis since 1987, now suffering from 'possible ms' - or maybe hypocondery, and some sort of reheumatoid disease. My brother has lupus, podagra, has had heartattack, now also sjogrens and have the last year developed diffuse symptoms like in addison. Or may his confution, weightloss etc be related to lupus? I am worried about him, his doctor think it's depression. And how about myself, does hypothyreosis and ms really go together? What can we do to include or count out? So tired of this. Thankful for answer.
