Iritis
styes
fatigue
cold hands and feet
itchy hands and feet...tops and bottoms
stiff fingers when i bend them
something that feels like shin splints but around my ankles
hands and feet tingle
achiness in the upper back...like a flu
headaches
nausea
constipation
abnormal periods
vertigo
hives ONE time in the sun
insomnia
All of these happened off and on...
But what happens about once a month...are these 3 specific things...
achiness in the back, headache, fatigue and nausea.
Not related to period...nothing triggers it.
Docs don't know what it is? I have been checked for thyroid(but not the f3-4 or antibodies!)...that was ok. Had a cat scan...ok...blood drawn...nothing.
What doc do I need to see? A specialist? HELP! I KNOW it's something....I'm not crazy.
Perhaps two of the stickies at the top of the lupus board would be enlightening for you to read. They are "Criteria to Dx Lupus" and "antiphosphoidlipoid syndrome".
Your cold hands and feet are possibly Reynaud's as that is also common with autoimmune problems. I have it and often wear socks in the summer as my toes ache so much when cold. Socks help!
Several symptoms on your list hint at lupus - but I'm no doctor! I have lupus myself.
Some symptoms like constipation, abnormal periods, cold hands and feet sound like Hashimotos Disease (Auto-Immune Thyroid Disease). But I am not a doctor!
Hi I have some of your symptoms and I agree it makes you feel helpless and you feel crazy as no one seems to know what's going on!.
I was referred to a Physician just before Christmas and he has been fantastic, he did all my bloods and sent off for specialised tests also, I have an appointment tomorrow with an immune consultant to find out what my physician thinks I have and to increase my hemoglobin levels.
Can you ask to see an immune specialist? I don't know what the cold hands and feet thing is, I suffer with it also, my husband says it's because I have a warm heart!! this has only happened in the last few months.
HI, I certainly can relate to what you are saying. I feel that I can't complain anymore beccause I feel as though I am always complaining to my family & friends! I am 43 and I have been diagnosed with undifferential connective tissue disease. All I know it is very generalized and my symptoms jump from one to another. I am functional, working full time, however there are days that I feel "jointy" and fatigued. Most of all I feel frustrated ,as I haven't felt great in over one year. Can you relate to this?
