diagnosed with Collagen Vascular Disease? - Immune Disorders Message Board

Ive been told for 6 months that my symptoms looked and sounded like MS after many test and alot of frustration I was sent to Vanderbuilt hosp. in nashville because nuerologist was not ready to give me a MS diagnosis. So I go and Im told after looking at my MRI of the brian and looking at the spots that are on it and then including all my symptoms and past diagnosis of AS. That my diagnosis is Collagen Vascular Disease? I was glad to get a diagnosis finally but, I get home and try to find out more about this diagnosis online and it does not sound like me at all! Im so depressed today I can not beleive I left the Ms Clinic in Nashville excited that I have a name to my problems but, get home and go online and not see anything about this disease that sounds like me. Im so upset I just dont know what to do. Im confused with this diagnosis and can not see neuro for another 3 weeks. Has any of you been through this before Im just lost.

Cant any one relpy to this surely Im not the only person that has been diagnosed with this and hopefully you can tell me something I dontknow Please somebody reply to my Collagen Vascular disease diagnosis. PLEASE

Please surely some of you have been through this I have waited for like a month to see if someone would post a reply and noone has yet, surely somebody out there has something to say about this disease?? Please, reply

yes it is. but, i probably dont have the same syptoms as you. but, I will give you a brief ex. I have buring and tingling in upper lfet shoulder of back buring straight up spine only from upper mid back to neck not below. tingling in hands. some fingers are now turing white when they are cold lets not forget the numbness. Just noticed today this is also happening in my feet on top and on bottom. (blotchy white and red) left side seems to be the side I have alot of problems my left arm will ache and be weaker than right. majoring tingling in feet and occasional muscle spasms in feet unprovoked and usually happen at rest. My eye sight has change. 1 year ago I didnt wear glasses. I have heard other people with ms were first diagnosed with collagen vascular disease. I also have anglosizing spondylilists ( probably spelled that wrong) do you have any of these type of symptoms ?
