| unbalanced immune system
Hi
I am new here and rather confused. This week my dr said that my immune system is unbalanced and that I am between a rock and a hard place. For the last 10 months I've been suffering from hives and facial swelling and have been given many many drugs to try. (Benadryl, zantac, doxepin, arius, prednisone, and now melatonine) But the one that works (doxepin)makes me feel so out of it. It is as though I am walking around in a dazz. So I stopped taking it now the hives and facial swelling have come back but not just once a week, hives everyday and the facial swelling very three days with a very bad headache and pressure in my head. I am hoping for some answers but I don't seem to get any form my dr. Are there no blood test to determine what exactly is out of balance? I think that my hormornes are out but dr. doesn't want to test my blood for some reason. She has tested for Lupus and ANA I am assuming that came back fine since she never said anything.
Any advice would be appreciated.
