My son had a temp of 102 in the morning but it had gone away by 2:00. I took him to the doctor anyway as he is involved in sports and I wanted to make sure he was ok. She tested him for mono because she said he had swollem lympth nodes. She did the monospot test and the line was a very, very, very faint yes....the nurse didn't even see it at first. he is not tired, he has not lost his appitite at all and he no longer has a temp. Is it possible that the test was wronge? She told us that no matter what, even it it's faint he has mono. I am really confused because he feels perfectly fine????
