| Scared and frustrated..
Hello. I'm new here, but am so frustrated and fearful of what is going on with me! For the past 3 months now both of my legs directly behind my knees have been swollen, sensitive and tingly. I've had ultrasounds and doppler tests for blood clots, aneurysms, and Bakers Cysts - all came back negative. I've also lost about 10 pounds without trying. Went to my family doctor and he noticed swollen lymph nodes in arm pits and neck. He rans some blood tests, not sure what all he ran, but when they called me back with my results they indicated my "RA" test was negative, but my "ANA" test was positive. She didn't give me specific numbers on that test - just that they were referring me to a rheumatologist. Didn't even know what kind of doctor that was until I looked it up.......the autoimmune issue really scares me. It scares me to think that my body is fighting against itself...if that is what my understanding is of autoimmune issues. For the most part I feel pretty good. I do have bouts of feeling tired, but not exhausted.
Just wondering if anyone has ever had the swelling behind the knee thing? Or any insight as to what this could be?
I appreciate your time..
