| | IgG Subclass 1 Deficiency and IVIG Infusion
Hi! I am new to forum...I am seeking out advice, opinions and help! I have been diagnosed with a B-12 deficiency, had an Iron Infusion and now been diagnosed with an immune deficiency. All of this started back in November when I finally went to the doctor after getting Swine Flu in September and not ever getting my energy back.
I had a lymph node biopsy in February which came back clear for Lymphoma but Reactive (whatever that means?) I then saw a new Oncologist and she ran a ton of blood test and came back with the IgG Subclass 1 Deficiency. I have seen a neurologist to rule out Myasthenia Gravis, which hasn't been done yet because honestly the Neurologist is a "quack" I will be seeing a new doctor in July. They did rule out MS (Thank God!) but can't explain the Neuropathy in my feet which is so painful!!
Since MS has been ruled out I will start my IVIG Infusions on Wednesday...What can I expect? Are they as horrible as people say? I thought after the Iron Infusion I was going to die, I don't know what to expect with this treatment? Honestly I think I can handle about anything as long as it makes me feel better...I just want my energy back so I can play with my girls!
