IgA deficiency and bone marrow transplant
Hello, My brother has a IgA deficieny for many years and his body's capacity to fight infection is pretty diminished. His illness dates back to his early twenties, now he is in his fourties.
I've heard that the only permanent and effective solution of the problem is a bone marrow transplant.
What do you think about that option? Is this really the way to bring back the immune system to normal?
