Sustenex to Keep the Immune System Fit??
Hi,
I just bought -- Sustenex -- a product to help digestion. It is also suppose to help maintain a heathy Immune system --

I have only been using it for 3 days. It is a spore derived from bacillus coagulans (one of the 3 ingredients in ThreeLac) and not a probiotic.

Has anyone used it to help improve their Immune System?
About 75% of the body's immune system is in the intestinal tract. Sounds reasonable but have not found any information-- other than general statements.

The company does not go into any details in their literature.

The bacterial flora in your intestinal tract, under normal conditions, will produce antioxidants. Also, some B vitamins and K1. So eat lots of healthy whole foods to keep your GI tract healthy.

I think the strain of bacillus inside Sustenex IS a probiotic. At least that's what I can gather from their website. I've been taking it every day for over 3 years and have gotten sick very few times. I've even managed to avoid the flu that's going around without a flu shot! Hope it helps!
