| CVID/ITP In Diabetics
Hi - I'm new to this forum. I'm a 31 year old Diabetic (type one), recently diagnosed with CVID/ITP. I suspect that I've probably had this most of my life but for whatever reason, after visiting multiple doctors, they've finally settled on this diagnosis. I've been taking Privigen (IVIG) for about 3-4 months now and have done well with it. They use a pump to monitor the rate, so it's more exact than just a convenient drip of some sort. However, this stuff has caused some nasty headaches in me. Sometimes they are worse than others and I haven't been able to track down a variable that would cause them to be better or worse at one time than another. Additionally, I occasionally wake up in the middle night with the chills but no fever. I'm not sure as to how long they last because I typically put a shirt and socks on and am able to get back to sleep, waking up sweating in the morning as I'm typically pretty hot natured. Any advice/words of wisdom from other diabetics who have this issue?
