| CVID related issues
I have CVID and RA. I'm curious if any of you have this problem:
This is so annoying. I get these sores/lesions in my nostrils frequently and they take +/- a month to heal. They are painful and as soon as one heals, another develops.
Whenever I complain or ask about this, my rheumy is non-committal and basically dismisses such complaints. In my research this symptom is associated with lupus. My rheumy is always testing for lupus in my labs and intermittently I have mild positive ANA and positive anti- DNA. I always have very low WBCs, sometimes critically low, low neutrophils, low RBCs, HGB, HCT, etc. He says I don't have lupus and that the definitive complement levels are what he's keeping his eyes on.
I just want to know if any of you get these awful sores and what you're being told about them.
