I think DS is going to skip rolling over - Infant Care (up to 18 months old) Message Board

I thnk DS is going to forget the rolling over part and go right to sitting. He loves to sit in his Bumbo and Exersaucer. And lately I have been letting him just sit on the couch and in his boppy. He sits real way and rarerly falls to one side or the other. But when I lay him on his stomach or back he throws a fit. He will on his back for maybe 5 minutes and the stomach at the most 2.

My DS is 3 months old today. He rolled over for the first time yesterday! He also hates tummy time......but we do it a few times a day. Yesterday during tummy time he was complaining as usual...then out of nowhere he rolled right over. My poor husband had just walked in the door from work, and missed it my 20 sec. But DS did it later on for him to see!!

I ordered the Bumbo seat...still waiting for it to arrive...but I know DS will love it, as he loves sitting up. I didn't think he would ever roll over (although I knew he was capable of doing it)

Now tummy time is out of the question for us....he just rolls right over...lol

Your ds may as well skip rolling over....no big deal.....and just start to sit. I can't wait for DS to sit on his own! All these upcoming milestones are so exciting!!
