Talking June Babies!!

HI. I wanted to start up this thread to see how everyone is doing and how their little ones are coming along.
Kiera is 16 weeks and started cereal today. She would laugh every bite and it would come streaming down her cheeks I am still nursing but supplementing alot more.I am thinking of just going to formula and getting some sleep, lol. She had doubled in weight by 12 weeks and just keeps getting wider hehe. Most of her 3/6month clothes are tight and too long & she is in a sz 3 diaper! She is starting to roll back to front but gets mad once there. She really wants to be the biggest couch potato though.I will nurse her and she will strech her head and neck so she can watch. If she is on the couch facing the other way she will watch upside down!
I feel because this is probably my last child that it is rushing by so fast. I know I have to appreciate everything while I have it because I will miss it all.
BTW, thanks to everyone who gave advice on my baby's possible name change. As you can see it's the same.MIL had a co-worker have a baby a week after that and named her kyra pronounced long i and said she was thinking of changing it. I think it may have been hormonal and I don't think there was a totally right spelling for it.
Looking forward to reading how you and your little ones are!

Re: June Babies!!

Hi all,
Justin is 15 weeks old, and doing great. He sleeps in his crib now....putting him to sleep in his crib was a fear of mine since he spent his first three months by my bed in the basinet, but I knew he was too big for the basinet and finally put him to sleep in his crib a little over a week ago. He sleeps great in his crib wooohooo He goes down at 8 then wakes for a bottle around 5 then sleep till 8 or 9! My sleep deprivation days are finally over!!
He doesn't have his 4 month well baby untill the 22nd so I don't know his exact weight, but he around 14lbs. He's wearing 3/6 month clothes. We got Glamour shots taken of him on Thursday, and he was sooo adorable. It seemed like he knew exactley when to smile. The photographer said I should get him into modeling.
He's never really liked tummy time, and the day before he turned 3 months he rolled from his Tummy to his back. We can't do tummy time very much because he rolls over and thinks it's sooo funny.
All his formula problems are under control, and the Acid Reflux doesn't bother him any more. I'm still pumping, so he gets a few breast milk bottles a day as well.
Whenever we take him anywhere he is such a good boy! Personality wise he's just like his daddy...very laid back and go with the flow. I'm so proud of my little guy, and so proud to be his mommy!
I am looking forward to chating with you all through all our little ones milestones!! Crawling is next!!!

Re: June Babies!!

Clayton doubled his birth weight about 3 weeks ago. He was 16 lbs 4 ozs and is in the 90th percantile for height, weight, and head circumference. He is wearing size 6-9 months. He has rolled over once from stomach to back but absolutely hates laying on the floor on either his stomach or back. And he hasn't started giggling yet, it is more of a scream, but the other day he giggled in his sleep. It was soo cute and DH and I were sitting right there. EW started rice cereal soon after he turned 3 months. He loves it and will not go to sleep at night until he gets it. He outgrew his bassinet, so he is sleeping in the pack-n-play bassinet since I can not sleep with out him in our room. Also, this week he has his first cold and I feel so sorry for him. We took him for pictures today and he was so good. He smiled for every one and I wanted to take every one home and in the end I paid over $200. I can't believe how good he was. He loves people and smiles at almost every person he meets. Every where we go he gets attention by smiling and flirting and some times he gets loud enough until he gets attention if he is being ignored.

My little guy is the same way, and people love him! But I read that in a about a month from now they will have a "people preference" and won't smile or go to just anyone, So i'm enjoying these moments while they last.

Re: June Babies!!

My DS was always like that and still is. DD is a mom or dad only kind of girl.
2fast4u try wal-mart for your pictures.I usedto do the expensive huge packages and I STILL have so many!I take them every couple months and get one or two shots and it costs me under $10 for a ton of pics.I figure I can get them more often that way.
