stroller for travel

Hello. I will be travelling soon with my DD and I'm looking for a
lightweight stroller (preferrably umbrella stroller) that also reclines.
Do you have any suggestions for one that costs under $50?
thanks.

Re: stroller for travel

Babies r Us usually has them for about $25 bucks. They are great for travel or any place where there isn't a ton of room.

Re: stroller for travel

We have a "disposable" umbrella stroller we take on trips with us -- use it in the airports, fold it up when we get to our gate. Think it cost us $10 at Target or Walmart. We have a regular stroller at home that also folds up, but that thing is too much of a beast to take on airplanes, pack in the car, etc.

Re: stroller for travel

I just got one at Zellers for $24, it's great b/c it's an umbrella stroller that reclines, so when DS falls asleep you can still put him back.

Kiedy - Can you please let me know what brand your stroller is? I'm unfamiliar with the store Zellers.

Re: stroller for travel

Just ran downstairs to check, it's "avalon® Deluxe Recline Umbrella Stroller". Zellers is a canadian store, but see if you can find it somewhere else (I just checked on google, and they have similar ones in different stores). The one that I have reclines all the way to the bottom, I know some do just a little bit which I don't find that helpfull. good luck.
