When was your baby's first real smile? My DS is 4wks so I doubt that he really smiled at me...but it sure looked like it!!

First baby was 3 weeks, second baby was 5 weeks. Sounds like you got your first toothless grin!! There is nothing sweeter in the whole world. I know most drs say the first smiles are just gas, but that's balony. I don't smile when I fart and neither do my little ones. (well, they might laugh afterwards)

My youngest is now 6 months old and he has the sweetest smile. Take care!

My son is 2 months old and he first smiled around 6 weeks..he still doesn't smile much at all. I'm waiting for the day I get a big grin from him after picking him up from my parents house or my in-laws. That will bring a warm feeling to my heart!!

My ds smiled at 2 weeks. Maybe it was gas but it looked like a smile to me. I am not sure how old he was when he showed his gums with a smile.
