Ok so who didn't wait the full 6 weeks? As of yesterday I am 4 weeks pp and I don't really want to wait another 2 weeks. I can't wait to get the first time over with. I am so nervous about it. I thought I read somewhere that if you are no longer bleeding you are good to go. I did have 3 stitches but they are supposed to dissolve in the first 10 to 14 days. So is it really so important to wait the full 6 weeks?
I had I think 5 stitches, with my first, and I waited about four weeks. It really wasn't that painful, take it really really slow, and use lots of lube!!
I didn't have any stitches ar tears and I stopped bleeding at 3 weeks so right at 4 weeks we did it. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. We did wait a little while before doing it again not sure why, I think I wasn't emotionally ready, I was tired...
I waited until 4 pp and that was it. I wanted to have normal sex again, having sex when pg was horrible. It went okay except we didn't have any lube on hand and that is a must. After time the need for lube goes away but the first few times you will want it.
