I tried giving DD a cup of whole milk a day to try and swich her over and it gave her diareah. The guidelines is 12 months but ask you dr he may want you to introduce him slowly starting a month early or so.
Is your son allergic to milk or was he just having gas and spit up. A lot of times they outgrow the sensivities and can tolerate the milk at an older age.
When I was a baby I was on soy formula myself due to an allergy to my mothers breast milk and regular formula. I outgrow the lactoce intolerance and was able to drink regular milk. Around 12 months is suggested..I know it will be nice when we can stop buying formula and go for the milk!
I gave DD a couple crackers one day and she projectile vomited all over so I avoided wheat then grandma said she has been giving cookies and cracker all along so it was isolated. Bananas on the other hand she loves but within a half hor or so she will get hives so thats definitly an allergy. I read that most of the infantile allergies dissapear into toddlerhood.
