what a nightmare week ds had immunisations on tuesday poor baby was purple in the face from crying. the worst was the next day i was doing 4 or 5 jobs at once in the house as mil was coming round and ds was in his pram in the back garden in the shade as it was a lovely day. well he started crying so i went out to him and walked round the garden with him as he likes looking around outside. well my washing was out and i thought well i can fetch this in one handed before mil arrives. big mistake as soon as i took my hand off ds to touch the washing he back flipped like an acrobat out my arms. i swear it was like slow motion i could not catch him and i remember thinking oh my god he is going to die. he landed front down and i scoope dhim up he started screaming and i ran into dh we rushed up the hospital and he was given the all clear thank god i swear i thought i had done some internal damage i am so thankful he is fine and swear i am going to slow down and not be supermom doing so many things at once. i wanted to post so that when you are next holding baby in one arm make sure the other arm is on him to to keep himsafe my ds is only 2 months and i swear wednesday i thought i had lost him for a brief second not nice at all. the er staff were great and said i was more upset by it than ds. he had grass stains on his little nose and feet and had grabbed handfuls of the grass when he landed but is fine. please take heed of my story and keep both arms on you baby when carrying him.
