Hi ladies!
My DD is starting the teething process. She is only 12 weeks old but has just about EVERY sign and symptom. She has her good days and her bad days but today is horrible!! I've given her baby tylenol and its not even touching the pain. She has been crying and screaming for most of the day. Her mouth hurts so much she hasnt eaten properly either. I know she is hungry but when i put her on she sucks for a few seconds then pulls back and starts crying,then puts herself back on and tries to suck while crying and whimpering. She does this for about 3 times before just giving up on eating and then screaming. I feel so bad for her. I've tried massaging her gums, cold teething ring. Orajel is hard to get in her mouth (esp when shes screaming!LOL). I dont do orajel too often because it mostly just gets on her tongue and lips. I'm so frustrated because theres not much i can do for her. Right now shes in her swing with the blowdryer next to her because thats the only way she will be quiet at least for a little while. I hate doing that to her but I am on the verge of pulling my freaking hair out
(not a good idea with PP hairloss!LOL). I dont know what to do and just need a little advice. has ne one elses little ones been through this? I cant just take her to the doctor because we dont have insurance right now (didnt qualify for medicaid). Her new insurance starts on july 1st. If things dont improve i will take her to the reduced cost clinic tomorrow. Im just worried, esp cause shes not eating much at all. And shes always a little piglet so im sure shes very hungry.
Sorry for the loooooong post. I just also needed to vent a little. DH feels so bad for me he is in there making a cake! Go figure!
