Awwww, my poor little guy is soooo sick!? I don't know what to do for him. He is 3 months old today and this morning at 2am he woke up choking on mucas. It scared the poop out of me and I bolted out of bed like a bolt of lightening. I picked him up and brought him into bed with me to nurse and the poor little man could hardly breathe to feed

I have been using an aspirator every half an hour to an hour and trying to get him to sleep more during the day. Right now I have him in the bassinett in our room proped on his side and the humidifer going. Does anyone have any other suggestions to help him through this tough time? I am so scared to nurse him in bed in case he gets pushed up against my chest too hard and can't breathe.
My Doc said decongestants are no good at all for babies of his age and that it's a waste of money and time. He said to use a saline nasal spray and aspirator. That's fine during the day but I don't know how to get through the night?!
Anyone have ideas or going through the same thing?
P.S. Does anyone know if b/f babies are suppose to be less likely to get sick? I thought this was the case but Tanner is really ill.
