Hi everyone

I have a 14 month old infant, who is just adorable.

We have a small dog (shi tzu x maltese)who is very good with our infant, but we seem to have come into a bit of a problem.

although my infant loves the dog a lot, I think he loves him too much! When he is playing with our dog, he gets rough. But its totally not intentional.

When i say rough, he plays rough with the dog. Likehe will pull on his ears hard, and pull his fur hard, and I am afraid that my dog is going to turn around and bite him. A couple of times now the dog has growled (probably from pain) when my infant was pulling the dogs fur.

I do say "NO" to my infant when he does, but he doesn't seem to comprehend.

does anyone have any other ideas how to stop my infant from this behaviour with the dog???? My dog's patience is wearing thin with being pulled on, pinched at etc etc.
