Anyone contemplating ttc again after giving birth??? - Infant Care (up to 18 months old) Message Board

My husband and I would like to try in December again, when my daughter will be about 6 months old. I have a 10-year-old too, but would like to have another baby, mainly because I want more children, but because of the 10 year gap between my son and daughter now, I'd like for her brother or sister to be close in age. My own age is a factor too, I'll be 35 soon, and do not want to go past 40 to have kids.

Yep, DH and I are considering it too.....

DS will be 6 months at the end of December, I'm 29 and want to be finished having children by the time I turn 32.

It may sound crazy, but what the heck?!?

We're still thinking about it though----dh and I would like to retire eaarly too. hehehe

I like the idea of not having another baby until this one is out of diapers and off to school, but then again, I don't I want to have another baby at 33---too late for me.

Anyone else?

My husband is older than I at 41 and we had a girl in April and we are done. One is enough for us. We have goals yet that we can to reach as well as teach our daughter everything we possibly can.

I do have a cousin who is having her third, she is married, and she is 24. She wants to have them and be done. She is a far more brave and patient woman than I am!

sometimes i think i want another one. i have two sons, 7yrs and 3mos. although if i have another i don't want it to be so far apart in age as my first two are, i just don't think i could handle having two in diapers at the same time, you know? and im just now getting my body back to looking halfway decent... the idea of putting it through another pregnancy so soon makes me shudder.
