We talked about sleeping issues on another thread and I am wondering how are your little ones doing and how are you handling them?
Sofia is now 6.5 months and from always sleeping great she went to crying her eyes, and lungs, out (if I let her) every night, or just waking up crying.

I read from some expert that if your baby goes to sleep after 8.30, try to put her into bed a half hour earlier. So I did and, together with a playful bath every night (I didn't use to) and her 2 half-hour naps, it's been working great! Until the power cut, that is... Let's just say that it disrupted our precious and carefully-worked-at schedule and now we are back at square one... At least we had two fantastic weeks...

Last night we had an 'episode'...She woke up at 10.40pm and wouldn't go back to sleep. I tried everything until about 1.30am. Nothing worked. I finally put her down, she cried like crazy, picked her up when she seemed tired enough, and it was 2am when she fell asleep in my arms, still sobbing...
Needless to say, I was exhausted-frustrated-sorry-for-her-and-for-me, all rolled into one...
I seem to spend my day preparing (both of us) for the evening!

I had also read that the night wakings have to do with separation anxiety as well, which would make sense with Sofia, as during the past few weeks she has become increasingly (and painfully) clingy... If I am not on sight she cries, and of course she prefers my arms to anybody else's. Wonderful as this is, I can't even go to the loo without her crying...

I know it's a developmental phase, like everything else, and this too shall pass...but how do you all deal with this?
