Exclamation yikes! there's a hair sticking out of my 14 months bottom!

well, it looks like my 14 month old son ate a hair! what would be the safest way to remove it? should i pull it out or let it come out on its own? if i do pull it, will it cause any type of damage?
i know it hurts to pull a hair out of your bottom, so i'm kinda hesitant to try it....

Ok,

I don't want to get overly gross here but is it GROWING from the skin in his bottom or is it in the process of being expelled? If it is growing, I would leave it (and make sure to show it to anyone who might find it amusing) . If it is being expelled, you can pull it out and not hurt him.

Good luck. I have never seen anything like this on this board.
