My dd just turned 8 months and I bathe her every other day, unless she has a big explosion. Sometimes I feel bad on the off day cause she loves bath time so much. Actually, she doesn't even bathe anymore. We take her in the shower. She loves it just as much and I think it's easier.
DS is 5 months and I bathe him everyother day as well. Like orange mentioned----it really helps with the routine----epsecially th bedtime routine and keeping somewhat of a schedule. He may be tiny now, but it all seems help things fall into place in peace. That way we all have a good nights rest.
Every other day unless he is really cruddy. Sometimes it looks like he could grow tater ridges under his neck. We do try to keep a routine with him. If he has diarrhea and an excoriated butt, I just let him sit in the kitchen sink for an hour or even more to help him heal. Then if he poops in the water, I can just let it out and run it again.
That way we all have a good nights rest.
