I am 5 days post partum. DD was born on 2/1. I have some questions about a few things. First of all, with my DS I bled alot after, where I was going through pads about every 1.5 to 2 hours, this time around I am going through maybe 3 a day. The Dr said this is fine, but this big of a difference between the 2? Also, how soon do you think it is ok to sleep on my stomach? I have been waking up nauseas, which I have no idea why, but I think it is from sleeping on my back. I have no idea but it so strange to wake up feeling pg all over again. Usually once I get moving around and eat, I feel fine. And how long with the second one does it take for your stomach to go back to normal? Mine still looks 4 months along.

did you have a c-section? i did 9 weeks ago and never bled for a month! dr said he just clenaed me out very well-he called it irrigating. then, had a tremendous amount of blood-lots of clots a month after having baby. not sure if it was my period or just bleeding finally. but...it last for about 15 days...the first 8 were very heavy but then it was just off and on lighter bleeding.

congratulations on your 2nd baby! oh, and stomach can take a while to go down..it's completely normal to still look pregnant. gosh, i looked 6 months after having the csection but everyone else said i looked so much smaller....who knows.

Guess I forgot the important info. Yes I did have c-section.
