Scalding virus. Looks like chickenpox.Anyone heard of this?I can't find it on the net.

Never heard of it. Have you asked if the virus goes by a different name? Maybe a more commonly known one?

My daughters friend's baby has it and she said thats the only name the doctor gave her.She didn't know if it will spread to others or not but my 10 month old grandson was around her baby before they found out what it was.The doctor said it can be caught through the air.

There is scalding skin syndrome which is caused by a bacteria staphylococcus. Im not sure if this is what you are talking about without hearing more of a history. You can search that on the internet on images and see pictures. This is pretty rare though. I hope that helps.
