When do you start giving your LO a blanket and pillow at night?

When my son was almost 2, I gave him a pillow in his crib, and when he turned 2, we moved him to a big bed where he has a pillow. I've always used blankets on him at night.

I would say when they have the strength to pull up to a stand and walk. I think I did when my kids were 12-15 months.

hey jelly, you probaby dont remember me but i remember you from the mommies after m/c thread, my little bean is now 6 and a half months old lol, baby b must be shooting up too ,, almost a year? how time flies

with dd we gave her a cot quilt when she was about 1 but she never had a pillow until she went into a big girls bed at about 2 and a half. we have warnings on baby quilts here to say not to use on babues under a year but i have no idea about pillows

Hi Gemma! of course I remember you! 6 1/2 months! Wow, how time flies...

It's getting cold hear in New York and my DH is insisting I put a blanket on my DS, but I know he's not ready. He'll be 9 months next week and he's such a wiggly worm all night. He's never in one place all night!!
I'm really thinking more about me! I know he'll just get all tangled up in it and wake up crying in the middle of the night.

I do put flannel PJ's on him but his little hands and head get so cold..

Any suggestions?
