| Re: Dangerous Bottles? HELP!!!
my dad recently passed away from cancer. since he'd been diagnosed last year, it seems like suddenly EVERYONE has cancer! it does make you wonder what it is that we are putting into our bodies! all of our daily use products seem to be filled with those same toxins and carcinogens that lead to cancer and other major diseases! it's all FDA approved as being "safe" to use, but what does that mean? don't those "safe" doses of toxins start to add up? my shampoo has a "safe" amount of carcinogen X in it... well, so does my conditioner, my hair gel, my hairspray, my toothpaste, my mouthwash, my deodorant, my bathroom cleaner, my air freshener.... etc.... so what is the FDA's definition of safe? is it considered safe as long as that is the only product you're using with carcinogen X in it? or is carcinogen X considered safe even in larger amounts? does that make sense?
my point is, i don't trust the FDA, and i'm getting new bottles! or maybe i'll just quit bottles and use sippy cups from now on.... did that article mention sippy cups??? i'm not some paranoid conspiracy theorist, i just kind of think that even though they probably do some pretty extensive testing and studies on lab rats, it's no guarantee that people are going to react the same way, you know?
