This is so weird. I caught my ten month old daughter doing this the other day! She did end up throwing up and then as soon as she did, she started laughing!!!!  I am just staring at her thinking what the h**l was that all about. She tried to do it a few more times after that but I wouldn't let her put her fingers in her mouth. She hasn't done it since to my knowledge and I am with her most of the day. My husband and I were just wondering why a baby would do that???

... but I need some advice. My 15 month old son has started gagging himself. We noticed it last week and just figured he found a new sensation and for some reason kept doing it. Well, over the weekend we were in the car and I turned to talk to him (I wasn't driving) and noticed he had vomitted. Kinda a mucousy dark red (he had been drinking cherry juice) mess. I thought he might be sick but he was still in a good mood and laughing. Later on, we were driving home and as I turned to look at him he was gagging himself and threw up. I was shocked!! What kid gags himself enough to make himself puke?! Then again today he was gagging himself in the car. It seems like he only does it in the car. Any advice on how I can stop this? Does anyone else have a weirdo child?
