DD did this frequently until she was 3 months old or so...it eventually got less and less. When she was a newborn and for the first month to 6 weeks it happened a lot...awake/asleep...all the time. It was actually pretty cute for a while, she'd raise her hands way up and out...DH would always say, "She was trying to tell a fishing story...'it was this big.'" haha!
