Re: how much should a three months old baby drink?

My twins are 3 months old today and they are taking 4 1/2 oz. every 4 hours. The ped. acted like that was a really good amount when I told her. However, my little guys were born 10 weeks early, so they are only around 10lbs. which is small for a 3 month old. Hope this helps!!

Re: how much should a three months old baby drink?

I think it depends on the size or weight of the baby. My son just turned 3 months 5 days ago and he drinks from 5 oz to 7 oz at a time every 4-5 hours. He was 9.75 lbs at birth and currently 14.5 lbs.

I also have a bedtime routine on him at 9 or 9:30 pm, he sleeps in his crib with full belly and wakes up at 5am and sometimes 6am. That said, he only takes short naps in the daytime.

If he is full, he turns his mouth away from the bottle and I dont force feed him coz he just spit it out. Also, they'll vomit if you overfeed them.

You should just listen to your baby's cues and they surely knows how to say, Im hungry or more please
