My dd has been walking for about a month now. I have always bought Robeez for her. We started with the soft soled shoes last summer when she was 5 months. Then to the mini-shoes and now she's in the Tredz. they are great. I bought other shoes at walmart, etc and they would not stay on her feet when she went from standing to crawling. So we have stuck with the Robeez. I was about to order another pair for the summer (sandals) but I realize they cost a lot for the short period of time she will wear them. Any other brand suggestions? I've seen lots of cute sandals in target and walmart but they seem so stiff and hard, I wouldn't want to have to wear them myself. Thanks for any suggestions.
Keep in mind that toddlers are a lot lighter than adults, so they don't really need much padding in their shoes. (They don't need much padding in their beds, either, for the same reason.)
I don't think it matters too much brand wise for sandals just make sure they have enough ankle support and her feet aren't sliding around, you can let her go barefoot too thats good for her balance.
My LO is super active and spent yesterday in the muddy back yard wearing only one shoe!! lol
I went shopping last night after work and I just couldn't bring myself to pay $10- $15 for a pair of sandals at target, walmart or kmart. They were so hard and stiff. I don't want my dd to have sores! So I ended up buying another pair of Robeez. They are just so comfy. But if anyone knows of another nice cheaper brand, let me know for future reference. Thanks.
