Shuddering Infant

My grandaughter/7.5 mo/began shudders four wks ago. Now she has them frequently and are rigid stiffening of limbs and trunk. Lasting only seconds. No indication or relation to diet or feeding schedule. No digestive problems ie. constipation, reflux, etc. No ancestry either side of family for epilepsy or any other neurological problems. Full term baby with healthy parents and extremely good pre-natel care. Good appetite and a very happy baby. Although I prefer baby to see the doctor in person, holidays have interfered. Any advice until personal medical exam can be performed?
