Pentacel vaccine?

I'm not looking to start a huge vaccine debate.

My 2 month old was given pentacel yesterday, plus rotavirus and prevnar 13. I am not against the vaccines but she was given sooo many at one time. The pentacel immunizes against 5 illnesses at one time. Have any of you used the Penacel before and what were your experiences with it? Hopefully all fine....

I am thinking to divide the the hib, polio and Dtap up at her next visit and start spacing the shots out a little differently. She'll still get them all.

But back to my question... Penacel- good or bad for your child?

Re: Pentacel vaccine?

HI. I don't know about the Penacel as my son is almost 4 now. He never had a reaction to his shots though. I will support you in staggering the vaccines if that is how you feel. Like you, I am not against them, but I don't think they need so many at once. I only allow one or two at a time and my son is now up to date. Sorry I couldn't answer the Penacel questions.
