grunting noise while stretching
hi, my is three weeks old, and ive noticed everytime she stretch she make this grunting noise and arches her back, i found out i was GBS Postive, while i was in labor i was treated with two doses of antibotics. Im just worry of my daughter could be GBS postive.. is that a symptom of GBS?

My baby is 3 weeks old, too and she does the exact same thing.... as all 4 of mine did that as babies, I'm fairly certain it's normal infant behavior. I wouldn't give the GBS thing a second thought. The antibiotics would've taken care of that. I was GBS positive in at least 2 of my 4 pregnancies (possibly 3, but I can't remember for sure), and my kids are all healthy and perfect.

My daughter is two weeks old and she grunts every time she stretches as well...if you're worried, give your pediatrician a call just to ease your mind. I say it's something a lot of newborns do

Babies make all sorts of grunts and gurgles and hiccps. Normal!!
