staph infections

My daughter has had 3 recent out breaks with staph on her skin and was treated with antibiotics but the bumps keep coming back and never seem to stay away very long. 2 years ago she recd staph infection from her grandparents (while helping them treat an open wound that had staph) and her grandmother was hospitalized and almost died. She got staph in her spine and had many many operations and after 3 months in the hospital she is still partially paralized. Should I have a blood test done on my daughter to see if this staph is lying dorment in her body somehow and not responding to the medications properly?

Re: staph infections

Could be, also could be she's getting reinfected. Has the doctor directed you on how to properly sterilize your home and her stuff?
