| bug in stool?
I woke up last night about 4 am and had to use the bathroom. When I finished, I noticed a light gray bug on my stool. I say bug because it didn't look like a worm. It had legs and little antenna and it crawled around. It was about 1 cm, maybe a little less, and its fairly thin straight body tapered slightly from head to end.
I am freaked out! I couldn't sleep the rest of the night. I think I would even feel better if I knew I had pinworms or something like that. But everything I am reading about intestinal parasites is about worms, and nothing seems to fit the description of this little bug, so I have no idea what it could be. I have struggles with keeping myself regular and have issues with constipation often, but I have been that way since I was a teenager. Other than that, I don't think I have any symptoms that would point to a parasite. I do teach middle school children and I have two large dogs, so I don't know if it is possible I picked up something bad from either of them.
