| Trying to find best Infectious Disease specialist to take on case.
My grandmother has been in hospital almost four weeks now. They have run every possible test they can think of and everything is negative. They believe it is viral but are unsure. When she arrived at hospital white blood cell count was 17. She had a fever and weakness which caused her unable to walk. Then she developed confusion. She was not able to form sentences or understand what was going on, but she could still communicate. Now she is in ICU with bp of 56/24 her oxygen level is between 95-97. She is not able to talk or communicate. She went from very lively and normal to almost in a coma in 4 weeks and doctors can't tell us anything. In 2009 she had eastern equine encephalitis. She has alot of the symptoms she had then, but test have been run and everything is negative. Im trying to find the best infectious disease doctor I can to take on her case. Thank you.
