was wondering if it was possible...

I was eating too fast and started gagging and threw up (this happens occasionally and usually lasts about an hour). This time, though, I couldn't stop and I ended up throwing up the rest of the night (8-6 am). After driving myself to the ER, I got an IV of Zoloft and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. However, I didn't feel any other symptoms besides the constant vomiting and right after they gave me the zoloft I felt much better. I was wondering if it's possible that I may have just had a bad night and this case of gastroenteritis wasn't related to a viral infection.

Re: was wondering if it was possible...

I am assuming you meant Zofran which is used for nausea. It can help with nausea regardless of the cause. So if it were from a virus or from anything else it will still help.
