| ASO Titer 390
Hi guys,
I have been having throat issues for a few years. First I was told I have tonsillitis, then LPR. My 24 h ph study revealed I have borderline non-acid reflux which couldn't cause my fatigue and sore throat. Since January, after a virus, I have been having low grade fever and weird feelings in my throat. I feel my lymph node under the chin, from the left side. If I move back my tongue, I can feel a lump in the upper throat but my ENT told me it is just a feeling, not an actual lump. Anyways, I have spent $4000 already and didn't get much help at all. I asked my physician to do ASO blood test. It was 390 although I had no strep detected during throat swabs a few months ago. I took antibitoic for a week and now it is 380. I did many other tests, other than this one everything else is fine. I have no joint pain. I wanted to do tonsillecomy, two of my ENTs don't recommend. I am very tired of feelign tired and I will soon be staring a new job where I will work a lot. SO I would appreciate any help.
