Hello Everyone,

I'm getting ready to start my IVF cycle and will begin the lupron shots on March 29 is there anyone out there getting ready to start the March/April cycle? I would enjoy having someone to talk to and go through this process with.

Hi Hoppie!

This is my first IVF cycle and I have started with Lupron injection on Mar 12, 2 weeks ahead you. If you're OK with it, I would gladly to be your cycle buddy..

Hi Merana,

Of course you could still be my cycle buddy 2 weeks is not bad. Have you had any side effects for far? Just for a little background information my DH and I had to go the IVF route because I have two blocked tubes so instead of going through an operation again to unblock my right tube my RE suggested IVF would be a much better option. Are the injections ok so far? Did your RE give you a retrieval date yet?

Hi Hoppie!!

I hace endo and male problem, so after trying for more than 4 years, we decided to do an IVF.

Now I'm on the down regulation with Lupron until 25 March. Side effect? ughh.. I have a very bad headache and got very emotional (poor hubby here

) The injection is ok so far, no bruises.

Retrieval date is still so far on the agenda. Still have to get many injections to stimulate the ovaries..

25 Mar, got an u/s showed uterine lining is thin and ready to start the stimulation.
26 Mar: Because of high FSH, my doc prescribed me with a super dose Gonal-F... 400IU/day... ughh... beside of the price, it really make my stomach bloated.

gotta back for another u/s on 31 Mar. by that time, you already know what your doc would tell you what to do..
