I went in today for bloodwork and u/s on day 12 of my IUI cycle and my uterine lining is just way too thin. It is still measuring at 3.6mm, which is exactly what it was 2 days ago. Even after estrogen, it's still too thin. My doctor is supposed to call later, but the nurse said she wonders if we'll even do the IUI this month.

One nurse said she's heard of someone getting pregnant with a lining at 5mm ("normal" is usually 8-10 minimum at ovulation), but not at 3. Thanks. On a happy note, my lead follicle is doing great at 25mm. Only problem is I don't have anything for it to implant in, even if it fertilized...sigh...
Just wanted to vent a little.
Here's another question...I've been doing reading on the internet about different infections that women can have that can cause infertility and may not cause any other symptoms (like Chlamydia, or a clostridial infection). Has anyone ever been tested for these? I haven't been tested in like 10 years, just had my reg. pap smears, and my hubby and I are obviously exclusive, but who knows what we could have and not know it? My doctor has never run these tests, so I was just wondering if it's routine with anyone else's RE or Ob/gyn. I'm seeing an RE and would hope he's being as thorough as possible.
