Not sure - Pregnant or Not... How depressing!! - Infertility Message Board

Now I'm questioning whether the HPT's are picking up the booster shot or if I really am pregnant. My blood test is on Monday and yet I took HPT today and again it says pregnant. I have no symptoms whatsoever... no spotting, a few cramps, but nothing out of the ordinary, I do have CM that is thick and stretchy and the color is whitish yellow (sorry tmi?!) anyway, that's it for the symptoms. For 3 days now I've tested positive, today I'm 11 dpIUI (second IUI) - Had booster shot at 6 dpIUI.

Are the lines getting darker or fainter? That might help you tell...If it is the trigger shot causing the positive, it should be getting weaker. On the other hand, if it's a true pregnancy, it would probably get darker. Make sense? Don't worry about not having symptoms - many women don't. I'll be pulling for you! I pray the blood test confirms your BFP so you can rest easy and enjoy your miracle.

How much was the booster shot? They say that it can take upto 14days to get rid of 10000, 7days for 5000 and 5days for 2500. I agree that if the lines are getting darker then you should be in the clear. KUP and I will be praying for you and DH, stay positive!

I took 5,000 and that was 5 days ago. I just POAS and I think it may be slightly darker than the one I took 2 days ago. But we'll see... when I get home I'll ask DH if it looks darker to him as well. I am having cramping on my left side (ovary), the same pain that sent me to the hospital in the first place. I'm sure it's nothing but I'll have to keep an eye on it during the weekend. Thank you so much ladies...

Keep a positive attitude. If the line is darker, that is a good sign. Did DH look at it yet? I hope that this it it for you, best wishes, KUP
Would they let you get a beta on saturday?
