AF showed- need to vent - Infertility Message Board

hello all. don't you hate it when AF is a few days late (and you're cycle is usually like clockwork) and you try not to get hopes us, but inevitably you let yourself go there and then AF shows up.

The only positive is that i get to start 2nd round of injectibles. had to take a month off last month (that's the worst!). i feel like when i'm injecting myself, at least i'm doing something. i start with high dose of bravelle tomorrow night. Here's hoping this is my month. i've been lurking on this board for over a year and finally decided that i could use the support.

Welcome RedOnion,

I'm glad you took the plunge and joined the board you will find much support here,as I have during the trials of IF treatments from the great girls on here,friends and family although they mean well just do not really understand what we go through.
Are you injecting for a second IUI try? Best of luck and I hope this is your month.

Sorry it wasn't your time yet. Not that it makes it easier to go through, but I think we can all relate to you on this one...My cycles are pretty much like clockwork too, and I used to get so excited every time AF was the tiniest bit late. I tried so hard not to get excited, but I just couldn't help it. It is so disappointing.

I'm praying this will be YOUR month. Start the board off with a BFP for the holidays

thanks for the replies. it does help knowing that there are other women who know EXACTLY how I feel. I would find myself reading posts thinking, OH my god, that's what happened to me last month, etc. I don't know what took me so long to finally post. i laugh that my user name says Newbie because i'm anything but! i actually found this message board about 2 years ago and was always on the acne board lurking. never would have thought that i'd be on the infertility/miscarriage boards.

RedOnion, I'm sort of like you, new here but definitely not a "newbie" at this. Just wanted to say hi and I wish you best of luck with your injections, hopefully this will be your month!
