Talking Laproscopy And Adhesions
HI I am new to this site. I have been ttc for 5years just started seeing a specialist march this year. Doc did laproscopy and said my tubes were stuck to my other organs and could not function so he freed them. What I was wondering is if anyone here has had this promblem?If so any sucess? I would love to talk to anyone who has had this promblem or one similiar to this or had any sucess with lap? how long did it take ? any comments would help? thanks kim

Hi Kim,

Welcome! I can't say I am in the same situation as you (mine is an abnormal tube that is shaped oddly and has tiny polyps - among other things), but I do remember somebody on this forum who had a surgery for basically the same thing. I wish I could remember who it was, sorry! Hopefully they will see your post and be able to give you some information.

Anyway, I think it's great that your surgery was successful . That's half the battle! I had a lap in November to unblock my tube, and that worked, but we still have other issues.

I hope you get your BFP very soon - GOOD LUCK!

Thankyou for responding . I guess thats a great way to look at it that the lap is half of it.I really hope that your other issues get resolved. Infertility is so stressful you have hope and in the same breath your hopes go down the drain it is the most stressful situation I have ever went through. Kim,

Were your adhesions due to endo? I had a lap last month and had some adhesions as well(but all cause by stage 3 endo). My RE was vey confident that after removing as much as she could I would be good to go with a little help from her.

I started Clomid and will have an IUI saturday if my follies are good.

Dee, Hi I dont have endo. but I did have adhesions on the outside of my tubes. Doctor said they were pinned back by adhesions and couldnt move.so he freed them up.I had my first IUI last month it was unsuccesful, but I have heard that surgery for endo. the outcome is very good, so I wish you lots of luck. Kim
