Did I ovulate already? (CD9 today-Clomid) - Infertility Message Board

I had a bad sleep last night, woke up every 2.5 hours. I took my laast pill at 4:30 AM. My temp was 98.1 from my pre-o temps of 97.2. Is it possible that I Od already? I do O on my own, Im just not sure when I should O on Clomid.

Hi Alicia,

If you are BBT and you did not sleep well or got up in the night the BBT that next morning may not be accurate. In case you think you are you can TTC tonight. But I think it may be off due to lack of sleep or maybe your coming down with a cold. Good luck!!!

Alicia hi just wanted to let u know everyone ovulates at different times but at cd9 I dont think u ovulated yet.My doctor before starting to monitor me would tell me to start testing at cd10.And around day 12 or day13 I would get a positive.Now u also have to test at the same time everyday.I think the best times they say is from 11-3 between those hours I always tested at 12.So u have to be careful.Now being on clomid usually the have u take the hcg shot that way they know u will ovulate 36 hours later.I dont know ur situation and what protacal ur RE has u on.Maybe u should wait a few more days test everyday and still if nothing call ur re.Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi. I had this problem on Clomid one month and I am pretty sure that I ovulate on my own as well. For two months, my gyn (before we started seeing an RE) wanted me to try Clomid b/c it helped us conceive DD, and that happened to me with my temps. They were all over the place. I didn't know if something weird happened that month or if I just didn't ouvlate at all that month. I kind of felt like the Clomid messed up my hormones or something b/c I had bad hot flashes and other side effects.

Although, I do agree with Kathy, if you didn't sleep well, you temps would be likely to be off. I have had that happen as well. Anytime that I don't sleep well, my temp seems to be higher. BBT'ing is a frustrating thing. The longer that I have been doing, the less stock I tend to put into them. But, I still do it b/c I am so used to it and b/c I am irregular so it really helps me to get a general idea about where I am in my cycle.

Good luck to you. I would just start now TTC and do it every other night until your temps go up and stay up for at least three days.
