New Mantra

Hi All

I've decided that my new mantra will be: Let Go and Let God! I've been reciting it constantly and it gives me a definite sense of calm.
I'm also giving my current gynae one last opportunity to redeem himself so I called to enquire about the HSG, according to the receptionist it's a procedure that can be done at the doctor's office, no need to go to a hospital. I'm just waiting for her to get back to me on the cost factor, if only this was covered by Medical Insurance my life would be so much easier!
Anyway!..my work day is almost at an end, can't wait to get home

XOXOXOXOX
Ronelle

Re: New Mantra

Hi Mapia

I do believe that keeping God at the forefront is the only way to go, I suppose that's my catholic upbringing shining through!
I've requested that the HSG be schedule for 2-3 weeks from now, with our Clomid schedule the next 3 days will be set aside for BD'ing and then its the 2WW, I don't want to schedule the HSG until then.

Does anyone know if IF is hereditary - I have 2 aunts, 1 has been diagnosed with unexplained IF and she will never have kids as she's already going through menopause, and the 2nd aunt TTC for 7 years while on fertility treatment, she then fell pg and had 3 daughters with a 2 year difference between each of them!

Re: New Mantra

I am a religious person myself so I always keep god with me.I dont think IF is hereditary.Sorry to hear about ur aunt that must have been so hard.

Well I wish u luck with this cycle. Also the HSG are scheduled on certain cycle days right after ur period and right before u ovulate just to make sure they dont interfere with a potential pregnancy.Good luck.

Re: New Mantra

Hey Ronelle! That is definitely a great mantra! I know personally I keep trying to leave the IF in God's hands, but I constantly take it back and put it on my shoulders. Considering He's the One in control, it does me a lot of good, doesn't it?! Anyway, as far as IF being hereditary, I'm not positive, but I do know my Mom struggled with conceiving and miscarriages. When I filled out the paperwork for our RE, it asked if anyone in my family has had a history of IF problems.
