Okay, so since temping, I noticed that I have a dip in temperature before the spike when ovulating. I got that dip on Saturday and some cramping with normal CM, but not EWCM. But we baby danced anyway and the next day, my temp was elevated. This morning, it dipped again to almost the same temp as last time and I did have EWCM. Could I have ovulated twice? My temps may have been screwed up a bit because I went out Fri. night and didn't have as much sleep and then this morning woke up extra early to tend to my daughter. It's weird though, I noticed the same thing last cycle. I dipped, then elevated, then dipped again and elvated again. All happening within 24 hours. I read that it is possible to O twice and that it would happen in a 24 hour period if at all...just wondering what you all think?
Hi Km!! Wow, that sounds liek it must be confusing for you! I've heard the implantation can actually happen twice in a cycle, generally 24-72 hours apart. I wish I coudl post the link. But there are some places that say it's possible! There was even a new report lately of a woman who gave birth to two children at one time, but they weren't classifeid as twins because they were ovulated (if the makes sense?) at different time in the same cycle. (boy girl pair, for curiosity's sake ) So I definietly think it's possible that you O'ed twice. Will you be able to BD again tonight?
I will be able to BD again and I will. I am a twin (identical) and perhaps, I am more likely to have twins? I don't know! I guess we shall see!
I would think that the woman who had 2 babies would be considered twins. Fraternal twins means 2 eggs, identical means one egg split.
so it turns out that I don't think I ovulated at all until last night...that high temp was due to my staying out late and having a couple of drinks...and the next day must have been from waking extra early and a continuation of my body being low but steadily getting ready for O b/c even though it elevated the next day, it never elevated as high as usual after O until today!! So, DH and I bd again last night...I guess it couldn't hurt! And NOW I'm finally in the 2ww!
